2016年6月のカレンダーを手がけたのは、イタリアはシチリア島にある小さな漁村、アーチトレッツァ出身のファビオ・コンソーリは、ロンドンとニューヨークの芸術大学でアートを学び、国際的に活躍するイラストレーター。ひとつの作品にアクリルを使い油絵を織り交ぜたうえでデジタル加工を施すスタイルを得意とし、ホッピーを題材にした今作品でも同じ手法を用いている。自転車でアジアやアフリカ諸国など世界中を旅し、スケッチタッチの生き生きとしたイラストを散りばめた旅行記をすでに2冊出版しており、ライターとしての手腕も発揮している。
Fabio Consoli is an illustrator and art director based in Acitrezza, a small fisher town village at the foot of the Etna Volcano, in Sicily. He works for international companies all around the world. His works appeared on Print Magazine, Picame mag and on illustrated book published by How Books, Print Magazine, Tapiroulant. He published two books, as illustrator and writer, about his traveling around the world by bicycle.
